The Southern California Region Chevrolet Club
supports the restoration of vintage Chevrolets. To this end, we
would like to post any Technical Information submitted by members for
reading. A new technical article on the disassembly, servicing and reassembly of the Windshield Wiper Motor has been supplied by a member. This description covers 12V Wiper Motors which the design is very common for many GM vehicles of the 50's and early 60's era. The article was directed toward a '53 - '62 Corvette which uses a similar Wiper Motor. The process of dismantling and re-assembly is the same for the 50's Chev's.
