The members pictured below belong to the So. Cal. Region of the Vintage Chevrolet Club of America (VCCA).  Many members have over 25 year membership with the VCCA and have enjoyed the camaraderie within out club.  Many long-term friendships still exist.

Adjacent to the picture is a short description of the pictured member, his interests, other cars he owns and his position in the Region.

Bob & Ellie Jeppesen and their El Camino.  Bob is currently the club Assistant Director. Bob has been Region Director for several years in the past.

Bob & Ellie are also active in two other car clubs, Orange County Vettes and The Chevelle Club.  Their other cars include a 1966 Corvette Big-Block Roadster and a 1994 Corvette.

Jim & Judy Lundal are shown with their 1956 Chev Sport Coupe.  Jim is currently the club Secretary, Newsletter (Regionnaire) Editor and maintains this Web site. 

 

Jim & Judy are both over 30-year members of VCCA and are currently life members of the So. Calif. Region.  Jim & Judy are also active in two other clubs, Orange County Vettes and the Solid Axle Corvette Club.  Other cars they own: 1960 Corvette FI Roadster, 1989 Corvette Convertible and a 1932 Chev 3-window coupe. 

 

 

Art & Susie Covarrubias and their car, a 1954 Chev 2-dr.  Art recently placed 1st place in his class at a VCCA judged show in the San Fernando Valley and recently placed 2nd at the Fall Colors Car Meet in Bishop, Ca..  Art & Susie have been members of our Region for many years.

Art & Susie also have a 1961 Chevrolet SS with a 409 cu. in. engine.  This car was recently completed and at the Bishop '07 Car Meet won a 1st Place Award.

 

Eldon & Connie Northrup and their 1963 Chev Nova convertible.  The Northrup's also have a 1959 Impala 2-dr. Sport Coupe.  Their Nova recently placed 1st at the Bishop, Ca. Fall Colors Car Meet. 

Eldon & Connie also have been members for many years with the Region.  Connie is currently Membership Chairperson for our Region.

Dick & Arlene Dennis  along with another member, Hazel Zaricor are pictured with Dick & Arlene's 1954 Chev.  All three of these individuals have been members of the So. Cal. Region and are considered to be the backbone of our club.  Dick has held the office of Director for many years and is the Director for 2008.  All of the above individuals are very involved with National VCCA.   Below is a more recent picture of Dick & Arlene at the 2006 Bishop Fall Colors Meet.

Dennis & Jean Fink are shown with their 1956 Chev 210 2-Door.  Dennis & Jean are members with many regions in the area and are very active with the National VCCA.  Dennis & Jean are editors of the National VCCA G & D magazine, Jean is also editor of the Foothill Region Newsletter.

 

Richard & Karen Lacourse are recent members to our Region and VCCA.  Richard restored their 1938 Master Coupe behind them.

Bob Brown and his 1951 "Hoosier" Chev 2-door Delux.  This car was driven by Gene Hackman in the the movie Hoosier.  Bob searched for the car and found it in Ohio.  Bob shows the car regularly in local shows.  He is pictured here at the Wings, Wheels & Rotors Show at Los Alamitos Air Station.

Michael & Lisa Kellogg, 1969 Chevrolet Camaro

 

Mike Welch recently acquired this stunning 1941 Coupe.  Mike is the treasurer of the So. Cal. Region and is the spark plug behind our Region cap sales.  During 2008 Mike is also serving as the Division 1 Director.

Jim & Mary Truitt.  The truck was restored after the Truitt's found the truck in their hometown in Texas.  They know the history of the truck.  Since relocating from Texas the have shown and won many awards for the truck, including their class at the 2006 National VCCA Meet.
