Lou Rupoli "dropped-in". Lou is Fire Chief for the San
Pedro facilities and owns several vintage Chevy's. The '48
Fleetline above is the one he drove. After purchasing this
car he completely dismantled and reassembled it to the condition
seen above. Lou also was our contact several years ago for
a Fire Boat Tour in San Pedro and has volunteered to host a
similar event soon. |

Alonso Guerrero also dropped by with 2 other couples after a
tour he hosted at Ft. MacArthur in San Pedro. The other
couples, George & Jeanette Aust and George Edwards and son drove
moderns. The coals were still hot and food was still
available for cooking. |
