| With very hot temperatures inland
several members did not drive their Vintage Cars. Once we
arrived in San Pedro to visit the Los Angeles Fire Boat we
encountered fog and cool temperatures. The fog did clear
and the temperature was very pleasant.
Jim Lundal and Bob Jeppesen
organized this tour coordinating with the personnel stationed at
the Fire Station. Key to the coordination was Fire Chief
Halveron at the station. This was a 2nd tour to the same
boat but several years later. For more pictures of the

There was a very good turnout of
members for the tour from the Foothill and Orange County VCCA
Regions. The tour included a walking tour of the station,
climbing all over the Fire Boat and a ride/cruise of San Pedro
Harbor on the boat.
Lunch was a walking distance over to
an adjacent restaurant serving Mexican food.
