The 2007 Foothill Region Car Show was held at Team Chevrolet in Pasadena.  So. Cal. Region members met at the Cerritos Mall to caravan up to the show.  The day was not your typical So. Cal. weather with the threat of rain and quite cool.  Four cars showed up at the Mall with the promise of another member driving another route from the Manhatten Beach area.  5 cars is a good turnout from our Region.  Bob & Ellie Jeppesen, Jim & Judy Lundal, Ken & Teddy Rocke and Richard Lacourse all traveled up the 605 Freeway and over west to Pasadena.  Other Region members, Mike Welch, Mike Kellogg and Dick Dennis drove up independently.  The pictures below were taken at the show.

The above picture is the of the 1955 - 1957 Stock class.  Lundal's '56 is in the foreground and in the background was the typical weather of the day.

Ken Rocke and Dick Dennis enjoy the small time that the sun was out.  Dick's '54 is behind them.  Dick won 1st in his class, as he was the only '54. 

Ken and Teddy Rocke drove in their '54 Vette, with the top down.  Their Vette took 1st Place in the '53 to '67 Vette stock Class.

Bob & Ellie Jeppesen's '64 Chevelle.

Region member Mike Welch drove his '41 coupe to the show and won a 1st Place.  This was a tough class and the win was deserving.

Region Director Jim Lundal displays his winnings, a large cooler, with wheels.  Jim did not put his car up for competition.

Another Region member, Mike Kellogg, drove his beautiful '69 Camaro and took a 1st Place.

This beautiful Cameo PU lost 1st Place to Tom Meleo's '37 PU/Tow Truck which Tom brought in on a trailer.  Reportedly, this truck had been purchased only a month before the show.

Lunch was available from a Carl's Jr. truck.  This table features (l to r) Bob & Ellie Jeppesen, X, George Aust (Show chairman) in his VCCA hat, X, and Jeanette Aust.  Only George Aust appears comfortable with the temperature.

This '59 Vette was chosen Best of Show.  Very sanitary!

Region member Teddy Rocke receives the 1st place trophy for their '54 Vette from Show Chairman George Aust.  George also is a So. Cal. Region member.  The show was very well organized and disregarding the weather, it was a very good show.
